I wanted the front end to be a little stiffer so some USD forks for the 1991 CR125 were acquired. The left fork was a brand new complete assembly (white fork guard and all) and the right fork used all new parts except the outer gold casing. I changed the oil as sitting on the shelf for years warranted it. I sourced a new 1991 CR125 steering stem and had the stem pressed out with a machined stem pressed back in. The upper clamps I bought second hand and powdercoated.

I wanted to retain the use of the original XR speedo drive so machining the CR front axle was required.

The brake calliper was a used 1991 CR250 item which I took apart and sandblasted and then powdercoated. Stainless steel pistons were fitted along with every other part replaced with new Honda parts.

At the moment I can't find some fork guards in an orange colour but my search continues!
